
English Fast Bowler Mark Wood Out Of England’s Playing 11 For The Next 1 Year As He Suffered From Bone Stress
England’s Fast bowler Mark Wood out from England’s tour to Pakistan and New Zealand, the bone-stress becomes the reason for Mark Wood’s exit from the tournament, and he is being ruled out for the rest of the Year.
Wood was rested from the ongoing series against Sri Lanka as a precaution, He was suffering from the right thigh strain while bowling during the first test against Sri Lanka at Old Trafford. Wood said that he was having trouble with his elbow during the test, which he scanned with the help of the medical team and found out it was something big and he was shocked to learn that he is having some bone stress in my right elbow.
“During what I thought was routine check on a previously troublesome elbow, I was shocked to learn I’ve got some bone stress in my right elbow,” Wood wrote in an Instagram post .
In the meantime, he will collaborate closely with the English Cricket Bord (ECB) medical team, aiming to regain full fitness by early 2025 to participate in England’s white-ball tour of India and the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan, both set to start in February 2025.

In Pakistan Preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are in full swing with many grounds in Pakistan being renovated for the ICC tournament even though India’s participation in Pakistan is yet to be decided by the Indian Cricket Board as BCCI is waiting for Indian Government’s approval, it remains to be seen that if they get approval from the government, then they will play the tournament in Pakistan.
