Govinda Accidentally Shot Himself With Own Gun And Then Rushed To The Hospital

Bollywood’s Raja Babu actor Govinda admitted to the hospital this morning due to a bullet wound in his leg.

According to Indian media reports, on Tuesday morning, Bollywood actor Govinda was shot in the leg due to the misfire of his licenced revolver.

Govind Arun Ahuja, better known by his name Govinda, is a popular actor, comedian, dancer and singer who has appeared in more than 165 Hindi-language films. He is a famous Bollywood actor as well as a politician, his manager said that both Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja were in Mumbai and were leaving for a flight to Kolkata when the incident happened.  The manger said that Govinda was keeping his pistol in his cupboard and it fell down and due to this misfire happened and a bullet went off touching his knee.

After the incident the official statement in an audio clip Govinda said.

“I was hit by a bullet but it has been extracted. I thank the doctors here and your prayers,” he said.

“We had a 6 am flight to catch for a show in Kolkata and I had reached the airport. Govinda ji was about to leave his residence for the airport when this accident happened,” Actor’s manager said. “It is due to God’s grace that Govinda ji sustained only a leg injury and it was nothing serious,” he further added.

After this incident, Govinda was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, his manager says that he is fine now and his daughter Tina is with him in the hospital, while the police say that Govinda is fine now. And no complaint has been registered by Govinda or his family regarding this gunfire issue.
