Bringing the cricket team of India to Pakistan for the champions trophy has been declared the responsibility of ICC, as host PCB submitted the schedule and format, it is the discretion of the council to finalize it after presenting it to the participating countries, all the matches of the blue shirts have been kept in Lahore, in case of access to the final, the guest team will have to play on the Gaddafi Stadium. On the other hand, the budget approved by the ICC for the champions trophy includes supplementary expenses, its purpose is to keep matches in any other place if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan.

According to the details, the champions trophy is to be held on the next year, but as usual, India is not confirming the team, the BCCI is showing the nails, the ICC meetings were held in Colombo, but there was no mention of the champions trophy in the announcement, due to the event schedule and format.

PCB has declared India’s responsibility for ICC to come or not, as host Pakistan has submitted the schedule and format of the champions trophy. In case of access to the final, blue shirts will have to play only at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

 Sources confirmed that the PCB has already been informed in writing with all the financial details including the payment of ICC taxes. On the other hand, the ICC is awaiting confirmation from the BCCI on the decision of the Indian cricket team to go to Pakistan.

According to the Indian media, the council has also included supplementary costs in the champions trophy’s approved budget, aiming to ensure that the Indian team matches financial issues in another country.

 It should be noted that the blue shirts had refused to come to Pakistan to participate in the Asia cup, on which India had to play matches in Sri Lanka while adopting hybrid models, but Pakistan is constantly rejecting the possibility of using hybrid models in the champions trophy.

A few days ago, the Indian media claimed that the match of blue shirts in the event will be transferred to another venue Sri Lanka or UAE, but no progress has been made in this regard.

 Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi stadiums are being upgraded, work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
