Moeen Ali England’s All-Rounder Take Retirement From International Cricket Across All Formats

English cricketer all-rounder Moeen Ali announced retirement from international cricket on Sunday.

Moeen Ali made his international debut for England in 2014, Ali played 68 Test matches and 138 ODIs and 92 T20Is as an all-rounder cricketer. The last time he played an international match for England was the T20 World Cup semi-final, where England lost to India in the semi-final, after which he was not seen playing international cricket for England.

Moeen has great records in international cricket, he scored 6678 runs, scored eight centuries, scored 50 plus runs in 28 times and took 366 wickets while playing cricket for England across all formats.

Talking about his retirement, Ali said that he has not been selected for an Australia tour by England Cricket, and he feels that he is now 37 years old and should retire because there are many young talented cricketers who must be given a chance to show their talent in international cricket and it is the right time to retire.

“I’m 37 years old and didn’t get picked for this month’s Australia series, I’ve played a lot of cricket for England. It’s time for the next generation, which was also explained to me. It felt the time was right. I’ve done my part.” In an interview with the Daily Mail Ali said.
