
Singer Rema Donated Nigerian 105 Dollar To A Church Where He Live In His Difficult Times
Rema, Nigerian singer, rapper whose real name is Divine Ikubor donate a huge amount of Nigerian 105 million rupees to his church – Christ Embassy, Benin City.
A 24 year old singer on Sunday donated the amount to church and thanked for its services and guidance. He thanked the church and said it helped him during his difficult time when his father died.
He talked about his family’s difficult time saying that when he was eight years old and his father died he felt very alone and everything was gone from him and it was a very difficult time for his family. At that time Pastor Joy and Pastor Thomas, who is the pastor of this church, opened a shop for his mother where she used to do some work and take care of her children.
“I’m not here to give myself any accolades or glory. I’m here to give God the glory. I feel like it is important to give back because the church has embraced, prayed for me, and has kept me very consistent with my spirit.” In a viral video Rema said.
Talking about the details of the donation, Rema said that.
“Firstly, I want to give a pledge of N40m to the infrastructure of the church. I want to pledge N20m to Rhapsody of Realities, and being the fact that I came from the teens church, I also want to pledge N25m to the infrastructure of the teens church, I’m pledging N20 million to widows in church today.”
Reema started her professional music career in 2019 with her single song titled Dumebi and In 2019, Rima released her self-titled song, which topped Apple Music’s Nigerian Music Chart.
