The Petrol Prices Decreased By Government Of Pakistan  On The Instructions Of The PM.

The Federal Government has announced a reduction in the prices of Petroleum Products once again. The new rates will be applicable from October 1, 2024. Petrol prices were reduced on the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

On 30th September the Pakistan Television News (PTV News) shared the notification on their twitter/X account.

While sharing the notification PTV News also shared the details of new petrol prices on twitter/X account.

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 2.07 per liter and the price of high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 3.40 per liter. The price of light diesel has been reduced. 1.03 rupees per liter while the price of kerosene has decreased by 3.57 rupees per liter.

The new price of petrol has been reduced from Rs.249.10 per liter to Rs.247.03 per liter. The new price of diesel has been reduced from Rs.249.69 per liter to Rs.246.29 per liter.  Reduced to Rs 154.90 per liter and light diesel oil price reduced to Rs 140.90 per liter from Rs 141.93 per litre.

from June 1, 2024 to October 1, 2024, the total price of petrol has decreased by 21.23 rupees per liter while the price of diesel has decreased by 18.67 rupees per liter in the last 5 months.

Petroleum products play a crucial role in modern society, serving as essential fuels for transportation, heating, and electricity generation. They are key raw materials in the production of plastics, chemicals, and various consumer goods. Additionally, petroleum-based lubricants enhance the efficiency and longevity of machinery.

Overall, these products are vital for economic growth and daily conveniences such as vehicles, trucks, buses, trains, and agricultural machinery such as tractors, tube wells, and threshers.
