Once again Internet users in Pakistan are facing problems in using social media platforms.
Platforms under Meta
For the last two days, social media users have been complaining on many social media platforms that they have no access to social media platforms. The platforms having issues with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are prominent among them. Videos and pictures are not opening on Facebook.
Only text messages are being sent on WhatsApp. Pictures, Videos and files are unable to open and sometimes unable to send.
Google and Its service
The rest of the social media platforms that are under Google are working pretty well, YouTube is working fine, Gmail is working just fine, but the platforms that are under Meta are having a lot of trouble.

According to the website Down Detector, the services of WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are facing disruption. The screenshot is also given below.
Firewall testing
Some users say that this issue is due to firewall testing by the government of Pakistan. But this claim has been denied by the government and it has been said that there is no such thing.
Cable internet vs cellular data
Internet users facing issues on cellular data, PTCL and other services are working fine. Till now no clarification has been given by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA and they have not started any investigation regarding this outage. Because they say that no complaint has been filed with them yet.
Internet shut down
Another internet user says that for the last two or three days he has been facing the problem that his internet shuts down after 2:30 and he is using cable internet and not cellular internet.
